Saint Thomas Rosary

THE INSPIRATION
The passage of the Gospel “Blessed are those who have not seen  and have believed”John 20:29, as interpreted by “Caravaggio” (1571 – 1610), gives life to a work symbolically representing the Holy Faith.

THE CRUCIFIX
Antiqued Gold plated finish. On the front side features the four Evangelists, who narrated the Life and the Works of Jesus. On the back side the four Evangelists emblems and the “Christ Pantocrator” in the center. “We did not follow cleverly  devised  myths when we  made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of his majesty” Peter 2:16 “But these are written that you may (come to) believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through this beliefyou may have life in his name” John 20:31

THE CENTERPIECE
Antiqued Gold plated finish. The  picture “The Incredulity of Saint Thomas” (1600 – 1601) by Caravaggio sets the backdrop for the reproduction of the Holy Door of the  Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican, where its opening symbolizes the “Door of Faith” introducing to a Life in Communion with God, (ref. Acts 14:27), “Porta Fidei” (Door of Faith) is the title of the Apostolic Letter by His Holiness Benedict XVI

THE BEADS
7mm clear faceted Bohemian glass beads - 7mm topaz color faceted Bohemian glass Our Father beads. The Rosary Beads reflect the Vatican colors, symbolizing Faith preserved through the Holy Father: “And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this  rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it” Matthew 16:18
