True devotion is a love story, an endless chant of "I Love You" sent heavenward that reaches the ears of the Madonna. Every whisper upon each bead links her mind and heart back to the chain of loving moments in the valorous life of her son - and her own life, inextricably intertwined with his. She basks in real and eternal memory and blesses those willing to pause, reminisce and make present her most cherished days.
As she stood beneath the cross of her dying son, Jesus gazed down in agony and lit upon her gaze. Of course she would be there...
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
John 19: 25-27
In that moment, in a sudden turn, she found herself no longer Madonna and Mother of God only, but our Mother too, Madonna and Mother of both heaven and of earth.
So, each time we send our chain of prayers in her direction or wear these beads in her memory on our person, we can know that she is linked to us, urging us to come to the Divine life of her son, so connected to hers, part of the great love story that is our lives too.Linked to Love
Her being illuminates and intercedes for every soul.
She is the consummate woman - whole, personal, tender and fierce, intuitive and empathetic, with inherent genius on many matters and a quiet power, devoted in gift of self to those she loves, a developer of life in everyone and everything she meets, sensitive to human persons in every circumstance, uniter of humanity, and totally enraptured in God's Divine Love.
We call her, Madonna, essentially translated as, Our Lady, a title of respect and veneration, because through her "Yes" to becoming God bearer, came our salvation, and thus she is worthy of endless honor. In turn, Jesus gifted her to us as loving Mother at the foot of the cross, and we to her, and so she is also Madonna, Our Lady, because she is very much ours...and we are hers.
She is the genius of every woman captured forever in one totally human, earthly, person, yet one so feeling, so receptive, so empowering, so sharing of her inner world and life, so magnifying of Divine Love, that she has made it her eternal occupation to raise us - all of us - up, by our own volition, to her own dignity, insinuating grace upon us, the children of her heart,at every opening.
She existed in the Divine Mind as an Eternal Thought before there were any mothers. She is the Mother of mothers—she is the world’s first love.
Fulton J Sheen
In the moment when most of the world would turn a shy eye away in fear of the daunting self-gift, she turns her innocent face towards her God and says, "Yes." And then asks, "How?"
Modernity is utterly enchanted with choice.
In the moment when a choice was set before her, she chose to bring God to us.
In the moment when God set his shoulder, shuddering with the weight of the wooden cross, toward a hill of death, she chose to give God for us.
In just the moment when we wander away, losing ourselves in life, she will choose to come close to us, and share God with us again.
Her choice...always #magnifylove.
Will I choose love?
Beauty as the absolute protagonist has guaranteed an inseparable union between faith and design in Ghirelli's work. Beauty for its own sake. Beauty for her sake.
We're welcomed by her into the depths of her pure and perfect being, and, in turn, we reflect what we experience in the most unique, evocative rosaries we can imagine. Rosaries like the Magnificat Rosalet and the Aurora Borealis Collections, marked by extraordinary visual impact, able to overturn the rules of the classic and establish a new boundary in the aesthetic tradition. Rosaries that cross over between jewel and prayer beads, and tells of the depth of prayer, enclosing symbols and messages that transcend time and fashion.
Created with you in mind, to become part of you, of your spirituality, of your day in any place or moment. Its beauty when you wear it, its simplicity as it slips between your fingers in the intimacy of prayer, give you an experience to treasure and love. Let yourself be drawn in by beauty too.See Aurora Borealis Masterpieces
And Mary said
“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior.
For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed.
The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him.
He has shown might with his arm, dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly.
The hungry he has filled with good things; the rich he has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy, according to his promise to our fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”
Luke 1: 46-55
