Penance and Mercy Rosary with Bohemian Glass

INSPIRATION

"When you go to confession, know that I myself am waiting for you in the confessional; I cover myself behind the priest but it is I who work in the soul" — Diary of St. Faustina Kowalska

THE CENTERPIECE, THE DETAILS AND THEIR MESSAGE

Made of metal, antique silver finish..

On one side, a beautiful sculpture of the Immaculata, carefully defined in every detail. This work depicts she whom the church points us to as Mother of Mercy and Refuge of Sinners. Every grace of repentance is obtained for us from our Heavenly Mother. On the other side, expressing the joy of forgiveness, is the extraordinary bas-relief reproduction of Rembrandt's Work "The Return of the Prodigal Son," dated 1668 and exhibited at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg.

THE CRUCIFIX, THE DETAILS, THE MEANING

Made of metal, antique silver finish, with handmade enamel inserts. Throne of God’s eternal love and altar of His Mercy: “by Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world”.

MERCIFUL JESUS: “O Eternal Love, You command Your Sacred Image to be painted and reveal to us the inconceivable fount of mercy. You bless whoever approaches Your rays, and a soul all black will turn into snow. O sweet Jesus, it is here You established the throne of Your mercy to bring joy and hope to sinful man. From Your open Heart, as from a pure fount, flows comfort to a repentant heart and soul.” — Diary of St. Faustina Kowalska

THE BEADS

Bohemian beads in 6 mm. The white and red beads represent the colors indicated by Jesus to Saint Faustina during the now famous Apparition.

“The white ray represents the water that purifies the souls; that red, the blood that is the life of the souls” — Diary of St. Faustina Kowalska
