Saint Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church Rosary - 150th Commemorative Anniversary Edition

THE ROSARY

Introducing a creation by the Ghirelli designers, full of meaning, that strives to bring all hearts to love the Church and its great Patron Saint Joseph.

In these challenging times in which we are living what has been prophesied in the message of Fatima -- i.e. confusion, the destruction of the family -- is nearing fulfillment.

The passages from the Gospel of Matthew, which inspired this work, are a light in this darkness. We have the certainty that ā€œhell will not prevailā€ (Mt. 16:18) and this is what we wish to represent with this Rosary

BEADS

The 6mm white glass beads represent the purity of St. Joseph.

The 6mm Italian olive wood beads represent St. Joseph's work as a carpenter, daily expression of fatherly love in the life of the Family of Nazareth.

The Our Father beads, in 8mm marbled Bohemian glass, represent the fortitude of St. Joseph.

St. Joseph Universal Patron of the Church - ā€œJoseph did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took Mary as his wifeā€ (Mt 1 :24). Inspired by the Gospel, the Fathers of the Church from the earliest centuries stressed that just as St. Joseph took loving care of Mary and gladly dedicated himself to Jesus Christā€™s upbringing, he likewise watches over and protects Christā€™s Mystical Body, that is the Church, of which the Virgin Mary is the exemplar and model.

- Apostolic exhortation ā€œRedemptoris Custosā€ of the Supreme Pontiff St. John Paul II on the person and mission of Saint Joseph in the life of Christ and of the Church.
