Our goal in this life is to get to Heaven. Thismust be our foremost priority; it cannot be emphasized enough. Everything we do can either bring us closer to our goal, hold us back, or divert us away from it entirely. It is our duty, our calling, to intentionally choose to make each moment glorify God. This is not an easy goal by any means, but it is paramount to attaining lasting Joy, Peace, and Love in this life and eternity.

This week, as we approach the end of January, we may already be marveling how quickly the new year has begun slipping us by and how already we have fallen short of our goals. Even if you have faltered from your resolutions — even if each day is a struggle to live out the virtues — know this: God is always with you, and He offers His Grace to get back on your feet and persevere towards Heaven.

God will push us through our darkest hours, but we must also do our part to push through to get to Him. To make it to Heaven, we must endure hard times as well as good. When we are caught amid difficulties, it is easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. Truly, we are given many more blessings than trials. But too often, our focus becomes fixed on the latter.

The reality of our lives is that wewill face suffering, of different kinds and varying measures. It may be battling depression, chronic illness, harmful relationships, sleep deprivation, or financial distress. We may have found ourselves thinking, “I could handle one bad day, or a few, but how can I possibly keep going through this for weeks, or months, or even years?”

When we cannot see a clear end to our suffering in sight, it becomes easy to focus on the pain debilitating us. We may find ourselves tempted to give up. We may have thought, “This is not the life I wanted. I did not choose this.”

When these moments arise, keep your eyes fixed on Heaven.

In 1 Corinthians 10:13, Paul reminds us of this:

“God is faithful, and He will not let you be tested beyond your strength but with your testing He will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.”

He will provide the way out. God does not give us what we cannot handle. We were made to withstand hardship andgrow stronger because of it.Our grit, our determination, and our perseverance are made possible by God’s Grace within us and around us. He is at our side, and He is waiting for us in endless glory in Heaven.

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”– Philippians 4:13

Our strength is derived in the Lord, and prayer is our strongest weapon against all adversity. We must become prayerwarriorson our path toward Heaven! The Rosary is the most powerful tool we have been given, which is why at Ghirelli we are dedicated to crafting beautiful, lasting pieces that will arm you on the earthly battlegrounds scattered along your journey toward Heaven. Using precious metals poured into holy medals, our Legacy Collection of Ghirelli rosaries has been designed to showcase the exquisite power of this prayer, mediated through the Madonna to Christ Our Lord.

We were designed for Heaven. Never lose sight of this truth, and never lose Hope in Our Lord to get us there. Let us continue to choose Heaven each day, and we will be rewarded abundantly.
