I received this rosary as a gift. My first impression was it's beauty. It truly is a feast for the eyes. The "flowered cups" that hold each Bohemium glass bead make a gorgeous feminine statement. The gold plate finish has the metallic smell that transfers to your hands. Hopefully it will dissipate in time. The rosary has weight and I love that! It feels like I'm holding the heavy seriousness of the Rosary in my hands!! Such a beautiful piece. I first heard of the Ghirelli brand from the actor Jonathan Roumie.
